Harbor Unit - Sidewalk CPR & Rip Current Awareness

The first full week of June (4th-10th) is designated as “National CPR & AED Awareness Week”, which coincides with “International Rip Current Awareness Week”.  Santa Monia Harbor Patrol will be hosting a “Sidewalk CPR” Event at the West End of the Pier to teach hands-only CPR and ocean safety tips.

What:    Community Event, FREE to participate

Where:  400 Block SM Pier at the West End

How:     On Duty Harbor Officers in coordination with Santa Monica Fire Dept. personnel

Why:     Teaching people to save a life through "hands-only" CPR and Rip Current Awareness
